Designed to fit into any suspended ceiling, cassette units are unobtrusive, flexible and highly efficient.
Installation
The cassette unit has been designed to be fitted in to any room with a ceiling void. With only a fascia panel visible, they are completely unobtrusive.
Features
Many units have airflow control, preventing dust from accumulating around the louvres and avoiding discolouring of the ceiling. Louvres are motorised to provide effective air distribution and are available with one-way, two-way and four-way airflow.
Louvres and grilles typically are removable for cleaning. All models feature washable air filters. Different capacity units are available in 600 x 600 size to permit easy fitment into a suspended ceiling grid.
Many units have a fresh air make-up connection, and a built-in lift pump to permit the optimum condensate drain installation to be achieved. All models have both cooling and heating operation. In heating mode, the units provide a very cost efficient and energy efficient method of heating, with levels of heat output that can be better than four times the energy input.
Heating in addition to cooling
These units can have both a cooling and heating mode. With a better than 3.8 EU A-G heating efficiency rating that can be in excess of 4.0, their performance coefficient enables heating provision that is much more efficient than a conventional boiler with radiators.
Can incorporate special filters such as plasma or ionising, to provide additionally enhanced air quality. Most units use R410a, the highly efficient ozone friendly refrigerant.
Timer mode, sleep mode, ultra quiet mode available. Also features auto louvre mode with airflow discharge that automatically ensures an equal distribution of air to all parts of the room. Airflow may also be locked in a fixed position.
