Depending on make and model, air conditioning systems are generally available with a range of controllers. Designed to control one or multiple units, these devices vary from hard wired fixed units to infra red remote and wireless remote.
Typical features include 24 hour and 7 day timers, energy consumption and fault monitoring, BMS interfaces and networking options.
Centralised controllers for multiple units are available and these can control up to 65 units. Control levels can be set by the user and can include or exclude on/off, temperature, fan speed and mode, and with or without retaining local control according to requirements.
